Context
With an overall patient satisfaction score of 75%, the Rhône Durance hospital in Avignon was already one of France’s top clinics.
However, unlike the clinic’s other rooms, the outpatient area was not equipped with an entertainment service, making waiting times a little long for some patients and the patient experience below what was desired by the clinic’s director, who is very committed to the notion of positive hospitalization.
Following the successful deployment of the Moment Care solution at the Fontvert clinic, part of the same group, and the positive results achieved in terms of patient experience, the Rhône Durance clinic also decided to equip its outpatient areas with an entertainment and information solution.
Solution
The Rhône Durance clinic chose Moment Care to equip its outpatient areas with top-of-the-range tablets offering patients:
👉 an entertainment area: Live TV, films and series from the biggest studios, newspapers and magazines …
👉 a communication area to make video calls to a companion, a loved one or communicate more easily with the help of a translator
👉 an information area about the facility (welcome, daily menus, practitioner contacts, health news etc.).
The plant manager was also particularly impressed by the solution’s speed of installation and ease of use.
Results
From signature to deployment, in just 4 weeks Moment Care was able to customize the platform with the clinic’s colors and information, and install the mechanical arms and tablets in the rooms concerned.
This service is offered free of charge to patients in outpatient areas.
